Reporting To: Associate Director – Culinary Chef, R&D
Role Type: Individual Contributor
Preferred: Expertise in Indian Cuisine
About the Role:
Are you passionate about food innovation and culinary excellence? Join Tata Consumer Products as a Chef – Food Service in our R&D team. This role is pivotal in building our food services business across the HORECA channel. You'll work closely with the Sales team to develop recipes, conduct live demos, and engage clients—bringing together culinary creativity and business strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Sales to understand client needs and deliver culinary solutions
Develop innovative, market-relevant recipes using our products, and present them to clients through live cooking sessions at events, restaurants, and other culinary showcases.
Conduct live cooking demos and tastings for clients and stakeholders
Share market insights to inspire product innovation
Ensure recipe quality, consistency, and practicality
What You'll Need to Succeed:
4-8 years as a chef in a reputed restaurant/hotel
Strong knowledge of food ingredients and recipe development
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Ability to work cross-functionally and travel extensively
Nice to Have:
Experience in client-facing culinary roles (consulting, demos, etc.)
Understanding of food safety and FMCG regulatory compliance
