Job Title: Sales Manager – IT Services

Location: Mumbai, India

Travel Requirement: Up to 50% domestic travel

About The Role
We are looking for an experienced and results-oriented Sales Manager to drive business growth in the Banking and Wealth Management sectors. You will play a key role in identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities while nurturing strong customer relationships. This is a high-impact role requiring a proactive and strategic approach to market development and solution selling.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to identify and secure new business opportunities in the Banking and Wealth sectors.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
  • Conduct detailed market analyses to understand customer needs, determine sales potential, and develop competitive pricing strategies.
  • Lead the sales process from prospecting to closing, managing complex deals involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Create and deliver compelling sales and marketing presentations tailored to client needs.
  • Research and identify potential clients, turning insights into actionable business opportunities.
  • Support business development efforts by leveraging existing client relationships and networking to drive revenue growth.

Qualifications & Characteristics

  • Bachelor's degree in Business/Commerce; an MBA in Marketing is a strong advantage.
  • 3–5 years of successful consultative sales experience, ideally in IT services or solutions.
  • Proven ability to manage intricate sales processes and negotiate pricing for complex offerings.
  • Exposure to Banking, Wealth Management, or Finance sectors is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills with the ability to present confidently to stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in creating impactful sales and marketing materials.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to operate effectively in a start-up or fast-paced environment.
  • Basic knowledge of IT/software technologies and an understanding of industry trends and distribution channels.
  • Fluency in English and at least one major Indian language.
