
Area Sales Manager-Commercial Vehicle

Principle Accountabilities:
Sales Management:
- Recruit, train, develop & manage a steady sales team
- Drive sales team to achieve budget as per organizational requirements. Ensure performance Monitoring & reporting of sales team on regular basis.
- Oversee sales team for process adherence as per organizations laid out process. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies within the area, particularly those related to sales and financial transactions, while maintaining accurate documentation and records in accordance with company guidelines.
- Monitoring of all hygiene parameters like PDD adherence & process governance for the area.
- Focus on revenue generation and profitability within the area by implementing effective pricing strategies, managing costs, and exploring cross-selling opportunities, while ensuring that the sales operations within the area contribute positively to the overall financial performance of the organization.
- Strong market connect and domain knowledge, geographic intelligence.
Team Management:
- Should be an efficient team manager driving results through collaboration
- Strong leadership, guidance, and support to ensure the achievement of sales targets and the effective implementation of sales strategies, to ensure best TAT & FTR log in as per policy.
Channel Management:
- Relationship management of DSAs, Connectors, Dealer DSAs, DSEs in the city/area.
- Business & Channel development
- Dealer relationship management/Large Broker management.
Portfolio Management:
- Monitor the Quality of sourcing to be as per organizations expectations.
- Monitor and engage in resolution of Non-starter, Early delinquent cases
Customer Service:
- Building strong & positive relationships with strategic customers
Support relationship manager in customer service.
Desired Profile:
- Minimum Qualification masters, bachelor's degree in business administration, commerce, management, finance, economics, or related field.
- Minimum 7-10 years of experience in commercial vehicle lending space as a team leader for an area at an NBFC / Bank.
- Preferably NBFCs in Used commercial vehicle like Cholamandalam, HDB, Tata Motors Finance, AU SFB, IDFC First Bank, TVS Credit, Indostar, Sundaram Finance, Hinduja Leyland etc.
- Proven track record in sales and sales management, including experience leading and managing sales teams.
- Sales Leadership: Strong leadership skills to effectively lead and manage a sales team, set and achieve sales targets, and motivate and coach team members.
