We are hiring for various Strategic positions at mid to higher Management levels for a listed group / its Subsidiary. The group is very active in M&A and creating new capacities in Solar Renewable energy space.
Role : Manager / Senior Manager - Business Development.
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Manager to lead our expansion in the solar renewable energy market across India. The ideal candidate will identify new business opportunities, build strategic partnerships, and drive sales growth in commercial & industrial (C&I), utility-scale, and rooftop solar segments. This role involves navigating India's geography for Power purchase agreements (PPAs), to achieve revenue targets and contribute to the nation's 500 GW renewable energy goal by 2030.

It's a Corporate office role.
Qualifications and Experience :
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical preferred), Business Administration, or a related field; MBA is preferred.
- 9 years plus of proven experience in business development, sales, or project management, preferably in the solar/renewable energy industry in India.
- Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets and closing deals in solar PV, wind-hybrid, or similar sectors.
- Familiarity with India's renewable energy ecosystem and networks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Timely prepare / sign off of PPAs with various Customers.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the solar energy sector, including C&I clients, government tenders, and EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) projects.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed annual targets, expand market share, and promote solar solutions such as PV systems, hybrid projects, and energy storage.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, Central / State government bodies (e.g., MNRE, MoP, Solar Energy Bodies), utilities.
- Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, finance, operations) to ensure seamless project delivery and customer satisfaction.
