We are looking for an experienced south indian chef to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a passion for culinary excellence, be able to handle a high-volume kitchen, and be well-versed in working with a combi oven.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation
- Ensure all dishes are prepared according to the resort's standards and recipes
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Manage kitchen staff and delegate tasks as needed
- Monitor food inventory and order supplies as necessary
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a chef in a high-volume kitchen
- Extensive knowledge of culinary techniques and practices
- Familiarity with working with a combi oven
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Culinary degree or equivalent certification is a plus
