Job Description

We are seeking an experienced SOAR Automation Engineer with strong expertise in ServiceNow SecOps to design, implement, and optimize automated security workflows. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience across multiple ServiceNow modules, strong scripting skills, and a solid understanding of modern security technologies and cloud platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Implement and automate security workflows using ServiceNow SecOps – Security Incident Response (SIR) module.

Work across 2–3 ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, CSM, SecOps, ITOM.

Develop configurations and customizations in ServiceNow including:

Business Rules

Client Scripts

Script Includes

UI Scripts

Advanced UI Policies

ACLs

Flow Designer

Build integrations using REST APIs, OAuth2, OpenID, and other authentication mechanisms.

Work in cloud-native environments including Kubernetes and OpenShift to support automated workflows.

Collaborate with security teams to enhance SOC automation, threat response, and incident handling.

Integrate ServiceNow with security tools such as:

SIEM

Threat Intelligence Platforms

EDR Solutions

Malware Analysis Tools

Work with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) to support SecOps automation and cloud-based incident handling.

Build front-end components and workflow-related UI enhancements using HTML, CSS, JavaScript.

Leverage machine learning–based capabilities within ServiceNow or external systems to enhance automation and detection workflows.

Required Skills & Qualifications

7-10 years of relevant IT experience with strong focus on SOAR automation and ServiceNow SecOps.

Proven implementation experience in 2–3 ServiceNow modules (ITSM, CSM, SecOps, ITOM).

Hands-on experience with ServiceNow SIR (Security Incident Response) module.

Strong programming/scripting skills using JavaScript/GLIDE, HTML5.

Experience working in cloud-native environments (Kubernetes/OpenShift).

Solid understanding of security operations technologies:

SIEM

TIP

EDR

Malware Analysis

Familiarity with cloud platforms: AWS, GCP, Azure.

Strong experience with REST APIs and authentication frameworks (OAuth2, OpenID).

Exposure to Machine Learning concepts and applications in security automation.
