Job Summary:

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated ServiceNow Developer to design, develop, and implement ServiceNow solutions that improve our IT Service Management processes. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience (or strong interest) in ServiceNow development, scripting, and automation, and will work closely with business and technical teams to ensure effective service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and configure custom applications, modules, workflows, and reports in ServiceNow.
  • Develop and maintain business rules, client scripts, UI policies, and UI actions.
  • Implement and customize ServiceNow modules such as Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Asset Management, and CMDB.
  • Integrate ServiceNow with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs.
  • Work on ServiceNow portal and UI customization using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Assist in upgrades, patch management, and platform maintenance.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document technical and business requirements.
  • Participate in testing, deployment, and post-implementation support.
  • Follow best practices for configuration and coding standards within the ServiceNow environment.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • ServiceNow certification (CSA – Certified System Administrator) preferred or willingness to pursue it.

Technical Skills & Tools:

  • Languages: JavaScript, HTML, CSS, AngularJS (basic)
  • ServiceNow Modules: ITSM (Incident, Problem, Change, CMDB, Knowledge), Service Catalog, Self-Service Portal
  • Integration: REST, SOAP APIs
  • Scripting: Client-side and server-side scripting in ServiceNow
  • Development Tools: ServiceNow Studio, Update Sets, Flow Designer
  • Version Control: Git / GitHub / Bitbucket (basic knowledge)
  • Database: Basic understanding of relational databases (MySQL, Oracle, etc.)
  • Testing: Unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting ServiceNow scripts

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to learn new modules and technologies quickly
  • Good understanding of ITIL framework and ITSM concepts
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality work
  • Team player with a proactive attitude

Preferred Qualifications (Good to Have):

  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) or Developer certification
  • Experience with ITOM, HRSD, or other ServiceNow modules
  • Understanding of Agile / Scrum methodologies
  • Familiarity with workflow automation and orchestration
