ServiceNow Integration Specialist (SAP Integration) Service Now Developer

Mandate Skills:

Hands-on experience with ServiceNow integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and Integration Hub.

Strong JavaScript and Glide API scripting skills for automation, workflows, and custom solutions.

Experience configuring and troubleshooting MID Server for secure integrations.

Knowledge of authentication methods like OAuth 2.0, Basic Auth, and certificate-based security.

Solid understanding of ServiceNow core modules including ITSM and CMDB.

Proven ability to debug integration issues, handle payload transformations, and optimize performance.

About the Role:

We are looking for four experienced ServiceNow Integration Specialists with strong hands-on

expertise in integrating ServiceNow with SAP using Integration Hub, custom connectors, and

Event Management. The ideal candidates will have a solid understanding of enterprise

integration patterns, data flow design, and ServiceNow platform capabilities along with REST

APIs, Webhooks etc.

Key Responsibilities:

* Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow - SAP integrations leveraging Integration

Hub, custom spokes/connectors, and MID Server where required.

* Work on bi-directional integrations - SAP to ServiceNow and ServiceNow to SAP - ensuring

smooth and reliable data exchange.

* Configure and manage Event Management, including alert rules, connectors, event

mapping, and correlation rules.

* Collaborate with SAP and ServiceNow functional/technical teams to analyze business

requirements and deliver robust integration solutions.

* Develop and manage custom connectors, REST/SOAP APIs, Webhooks, and data

transformations within ServiceNow.

* Troubleshoot integration-related issues, ensuring data integrity and system reliability.

* Maintain documentation for integration design, data mappings, and process flows.

* Adhere to ServiceNow best practices and participate in code reviews, performance

tuning, and system optimization.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

* 5 - 8 years of IT experience, with at least 4+ yearsin ServiceNow development/integration.

* Proven hands-on experience with ServiceNow Integration Hub and custom connector

development.

* Strong experience in SAP to ServiceNow and ServiceNow to SAP integrations (including

IDocs, BAPIs, or RFCs).

* Working knowledge of Event Management, CMDB, and Discovery within ServiceNow.

* Proficiency in REST/SOAP API development, Webhooks development, JSON, XML, and

authentication mechanisms (OAuth, Basic Auth, etc.).

* Good understanding of ServiceNow architecture, update sets, and platform security.

* Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience with ServiceNow MID Server configuration and monitoring.

* Familiarity with ServiceNow ITOM, Flow Designer, and Orchestration.

* Basic understanding of SAP modules and data structures.

* ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) or Integration Hub Specialist

Certification preferred.
