Role Description:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Operations Manager with 10–12 years of relevant experience to lead and optimize the operational functions of VMax Wellness. This on-site role in Coimbatore offers the opportunity to work in a cross-functional environment, drive process improvements, manage key projects, and contribute strategically to the company's growth. The role requires a strategic thinker and people leader who can ensure operational efficiency, enhance team performance, and deliver superior service outcomes across the organization.

Roles and Responsibilities

Strategic Operations Leadership

  • Develop and execute operational strategies aligned with company objectives and growth plans.
  • Set operational goals, track progress, and ensure alignment with organizational KPIs.
  • Drive initiatives to improve efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and service quality across operations.
  • Participate in strategic planning with senior leadership to support long-term business goals.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with multiple teams to ensure smooth coordination and knowledge sharing.
  • Facilitate inter-departmental meetings to resolve operational bottlenecks.
  • Act as a bridge between teams to ensure timely completion of cross-functional projects.
  • Support collaboration initiatives to enhance overall organizational efficiency.

Team Management & Development

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the operations team to achieve high performance.
  • Identify skill gaps and implement training programs for team growth.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning.

Process Improvement & Optimization

  • Map existing workflows, identify inefficiencies, and implement best practices.
  • Standardize processes to ensure consistency, scalability, and quality delivery.
  • Introduce automation and technology solutions to streamline repetitive tasks.
  • Track and evaluate the impact of process improvements on operational metrics.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting

  • Define KPIs and metrics for operational excellence and track performance regularly.
  • Prepare detailed operational reports for senior management review.
  • Conduct root-cause analysis for performance deviations and implement corrective actions.
  • Use data-driven insights to influence decision-making and drive improvements.

Resource Planning & Management

  • Optimize manpower allocation to meet operational demands efficiently.
  • Manage budgets, monitor expenses, and ensure cost-effective operations.
  • Coordinate with HR and other support teams for workforce planning.
  • Plan and allocate technological and financial resources to maximize productivity.

Project Management

  • Lead key operational projects from planning to execution, ensuring objectives are met.
  • Track timelines, milestones, and deliverables to ensure timely project completion.
  • Manage project risks, dependencies, and stakeholder expectations.
  • Conduct post-project reviews to capture lessons learned and implement improvements.

Quality & Compliance

  • Ensure operational processes comply with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor service delivery standards to maintain high-quality outcomes.
  • Conduct internal audits to ensure adherence to company and industry standards.
  • Implement corrective actions and preventive measures to maintain compliance.

Risk Management

  • Identify operational risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor potential business disruptions and ensure contingency plans are in place.
  • Conduct risk assessments for new initiatives or process changes.
  • Maintain business continuity plans to minimize operational impact during emergencies.

Customer Experience & Service Excellence

  • Monitor customer interactions and feedback to identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with service delivery teams to enhance client satisfaction and experience.
  • Implement operational strategies that prioritize reliability, timeliness, and quality.
  • Develop initiatives to exceed customer expectations and strengthen loyalty.

Innovation & Technology Integration

  • Leverage health-tech solutions to improve operational efficiency and reporting accuracy.
  • Explore emerging technologies and implement automation for scalable operations.
  • Use data analytics tools to monitor performance and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Champion digital transformation initiatives to enhance workflows and productivity.

Key Requirements

  • Education: Postgraduate degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Operations Management).
  • Experience: 10–12 years of experience in operations management, with a strong background in wellness, healthcare, or related industries.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and develop teams, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Analytical Abilities: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex data to inform decision-making.
  • Project Management: Experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously, with a focus on delivering results on time and within budget.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with operations management software and tools; proficiency in MS Office Suite.
  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and manage change effectively.
