About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced
BCM-DR professional
to lead and support the design, implementation, and maintenance of the organization's
Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery framework
. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in risk assessment, BIA, continuity planning, and DR testing, along with strong stakeholder management skills.

This role offers the opportunity to work across business units, ensuring operational resilience and compliance with industry standards such as
ISO 22301
.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain the
    Business Continuity Management System (BCMS)
    in accordance with ISO 22301 standards.
  • Conduct
    Business Impact Analysis (BIA)
    and
    Risk Assessments
    to identify critical functions and interdependencies.
  • Prepare and update
    Business Continuity Plans (BCPs)
    and
    Disaster Recovery Plans (DRPs)
    for critical business and IT processes.
  • Coordinate and execute
    BCP / DR testing exercises
    , analyze test results, and oversee closure of identified gaps.
  • Collaborate with IT and infrastructure teams to define and test
    RTOs
    and
    RPOs
    , ensuring effective backup and recovery mechanisms.
  • Manage and coordinate
    incident response
    ,
    crisis management
    , and
    emergency communication
    processes.
  • Conduct
    awareness sessions and training programs
    for employees to build a strong continuity culture.
  • Support
    audit and compliance
    reviews; maintain BCM documentation and reporting dashboards.
  • Ensure third-party vendors and partners adhere to BCM/DR standards and practices.
  • Drive continuous improvement in BCM/DR processes and risk resilience initiatives.

Required Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong understanding of
    BCM frameworks
    ,
    DR principles
    , and
    risk management methodologies
    .
  • Hands-on experience with
    BIA tools
    ,
    DR simulation planning
    , and
    continuity testing
    .
  • Familiarity with
    ISO 22301
    ,
    ITIL
    , and
    NIST
    standards.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills (across business and technology teams).
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a dynamic environment.

Educational Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's / Master's degree in information technology
    , Computer Science, Business Administration, or Risk Management
    .
  • Certifications preferred:
  • ISO 22301 Lead Implementer / Lead Auditor
  • CBCI (Business Continuity Institute)
  • ITIL Foundation / CISM / CISSP (added advantage)

Preferred Candidate Profile:

  • Minimum
    3+ years
    of relevant BCM / DR experience.
  • Experience in
    IT / BFSI / Manufacturing / Shared Services
    industries is desirable.
  • Immediate joiners
    or candidates with
    short notice periods (≤30 days)
    will be given preference.
