Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain enterprise-wide Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery (BCM/DR) frameworks, strategies, and procedures.
  • Conduct Business Impact Analysis (BIA) and Risk Assessments to identify critical business processes and dependencies.
  • Lead DR drills, tabletop exercises, and recovery simulations to test and validate plan effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with IT, Security, and Operations teams to ensure alignment of DR and BCM strategies with business objectives.
  • Define Recovery Time Objectives (RTOs) and Recovery Point Objectives (RPOs) for key systems and ensure appropriate recovery strategies are in place.
  • Manage crisis response activities and act as a key liaison during business disruptions.
  • Maintain and update BCM documentation, policies, and recovery playbooks on a periodic basis.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards (ISO 22301, ISO 27001, etc.).
  • Provide training and awareness programs for staff on BCM/DR roles and responsibilities.
  • Engage with senior stakeholders to review readiness, gaps, and continuous improvement measures.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of
    BCM, DR frameworks, and standards (ISO 22301, ITIL, NIST)
    .
  • Experience in conducting
    BIA, risk assessments, and recovery testing
    .
  • Proven ability to manage
    business continuity and DR programs
    across multiple functions.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and crisis coordination skills.
  • Hands-on experience in developing
    BCP documentation, playbooks, and response plans
    .
  • Familiarity with
    cloud DR solutions, IT infrastructure resilience, and incident response
    processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
  • Certifications such as
    CBCP, ISO 22301 Lead Implementer/Auditor, CISA, or equivalent
    preferred.
