Job Description: Senior Legal Manager

Position Summary:

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Legal Associate/Senior Legal Associate with a strong academic foundation in commerce and law, and over five years of practical experience in handling Trial Court proceedings. The ideal candidate will have demonstrable expertise in civil litigation, debt recovery matters, consumer forum cases, and legal compliance. This role demands a high level of legal drafting, research proficiency, and interaction with clients and government authorities.

Key Responsibilities:

Represent clients in Civil Courts, Debt Recovery Tribunals (DRT), and Consumer Forums.

Conduct legal research and prepare detailed legal opinions based on relevant case laws, statutes, and precedents.

Draft and vet a variety of legal documents, including plaints, complaints, written statements, petitions, memos, sale deeds, and agreements.

Maintain accurate case diaries and follow up with clients to provide updates on legal proceedings.

Scrutinize legal documents to assess authenticity, legal compliance, and risk factors.

Manage end-to-end property documentation and registration processes, and liaise with banks for Approved Project Fund (APF) processes.

Interact with government departments and regulatory authorities to resolve compliance and legal issues.

Participate in mediation and trial proceedings, providing strategic input and representation.

Ensure proper legal compliance across all relevant statutory and regulatory frameworks.

Required Skills and Competencies:

Strong expertise in legal drafting and court documentation.

In-depth knowledge of civil procedure, debt recovery laws, property law, and consumer protection.

Familiarity with document registration, legal scrutiny, and project due diligence.

Excellent written and verbal communication in English, Tamil, and Telugu.

Proficiency in legal research tools and platforms, and working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Ability to work collaboratively with legal teams and external stakeholders.

High level of integrity, discretion, and professional ethics.

Educational Qualifications:

LL.B. from Government Law College, Coimbatore

B.Com.

Pay: ₹30, ₹40,000.00 per month
