Position Summary

Manager IT Infrastructure will be responsible for managing, securing, and optimizing the organizations IT infrastructure. This includes servers, networks, cloud systems, cybersecurity measures, backup, and disaster recovery. The role involves leading a technical team, ensuring high availability of systems, maintaining compliance with IT policies, and implementing new technologies aligned with business goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain IT infrastructure (servers, networks, storage, backup, and endpoints).
  • Implement and monitor cybersecurity controls including Zero Trust, DLP, and endpoint protection.
  • Administer Microsoft 365, Azure AD environments including user provisioning and access control.
  • Lead network and server administration ensuring uptime, scalability, and performance.
  • Design and maintain DR and business continuity plans.
  • Oversee firewall, VPN, and internet security configurations.
  • Manage virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V, Nutanix) and hybrid cloud environments.
  • Manage IT vendors, procurement, and service level agreements.
  • Plan and execute infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and patch management.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support digital transformation and automation initiatives.

Required Skills and Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure design and administration.
  • Hands-on experience in:

a. Virtualization: VMware, Hyper-V, Nutanix

b. Cloud Platforms: Microsoft Azure (IAM, AD)

c. Networking: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, Routing & Switching

d. Security Tools: DLP, ZTE, Zscaler, PAM/VPAM, XDR, Firewalls

e. Backup & Recovery: Veeam, Commvault, Avamar, Networker, Backup Exec

f. Systems & Tools: Active Directory, Exchange, Office 365, PowerShell

  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity, data protection, and compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, DPDP).
  • Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and team management skills.
  • Vendor and project management experience.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in computer applications, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 1215 years of experience in IT Infrastructure Management.
  • Certifications preferred: MCP, MCITP, Nutanix Certified Associate, Azure Administrator, or similar.
