As a Mortgage Solutions India Lead within the India team, you will oversee both functional and managerial aspects to ensure a seamless mortgage pipeline and enhance the client/advisor experience. You will play a crucial role in promoting engagement across multiple partner teams, both locally and globally, as part of the global organization.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage a large and diverse team of Mortgage Specialists and Product Owners across multiple locations, while confidently engaging with global stakeholders.
- Represent the team at various local and global forums and committees.
- Lead engagement with global practice leads and pro-actively liaise and influence partner teams in Technology, Operations, Testing, etc.
- Deliver a best-in-class Mortgage sales experience for clients and advisors, covering all aspects from origination to post-funding support, including underwriting, processing, amendments, documentation, and client inquiries.
- Propose and implement updates and changes to existing platforms and capabilities to enhance the overall Mortgage sales journey.
- Lead both global and local projects and deliverables related to talent, product, and partnership initiatives by building consensus and thought leadership.
- Own and take accountability for all aspects of talent development, including hiring, training, and mentoring future leaders while fostering a collaborative team culture.
- Ensure the team's adherence to requisite controls, compliance, tax, and regulatory considerations. Maintain resiliency, back-ups, and capacity assessment to ensure seamless client coverage
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills
- Minimum of 15+ years in the financial services industry, with domain expertise in US Mortgage/Lending products and a deep understanding of underlying business drivers such as interest rates, macro-economic variables, regulatory nuances, and pricing.
- Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to independently ideate, incubate, and pro-actively suggest and implement innovative solutions and enhancements.
- Proven experience in managing large, globally aligned teams, particularly those that are sales/client-facing, with demonstrated ability to effectively balance functional responsibilities with people management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with keen attention to detail, clarity of thought, and executive presence, with prior experience in regularly presenting to a senior audience.
- Proficient in Microsoft software applications, specifically Excel and PowerPoint, with a broad understanding of transformation tools such as LLM, Python, etc.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external partners and stakeholders, with the confidence to express an independent and thoughtful perspective.
