Regional Sales Manager-LAP

Job Purpose:
To lead and manage the LAP sales business in the assigned region by driving business volumes, building a strong sales team, developing channel relationships, and ensuring portfolio quality and profitability in line with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Business Development & Sales Growth
- Drive new business acquisition for Loan Against Property (LAP) through direct, DSAs, and channel partners.
- Achieve regional disbursement, revenue, and profitability targets.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities, geographies, and segments.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and suggest strategic actions.
2. Team Management
- Recruit, train, and motivate a team of Sales Managers and Relationship Managers.
- Set performance goals and conduct regular reviews to ensure achievement.
- Build a performance-driven culture through leadership, coaching, and mentoring.
3. Channel & Partner Management
- Develop and maintain relationships with DSAs, connectors, and other channel partners.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, pricing, and documentation standards.
- Regularly engage with partners to improve productivity and maintain long-term partnerships.
4. Credit & Portfolio Quality
- Work closely with credit and risk teams to ensure healthy portfolio quality.
- Monitor delinquency levels and take corrective actions where needed.
- Ensure compliance with internal and regulatory guidelines.
5. Strategic Planning & Reporting
- Plan regional sales budgets and resource allocation.
- Provide timely MIS, market feedback, and performance reports to senior management.
- Contribute to policy formulation, process improvements, and digital initiatives.
