The Business HR team implements the organization's human resource strategy so that the organization attracts, manages, develops and retains the employees it needs to achieve its current and future business objectives. Evaluate the organization's future workforce needs in order to recommend changes to the HR strategy and adapt existing HR programs to meet these needs.
This role in summary
The purpose of this job is to drive the People Excellence strategy and agenda in line with the business strategy and needs.
Your responsibilities will include
Role will be HRBP for business units within Whirlpool India Organization
- Work closely with the business leadership to define and fine tune the People Excellence strategy
- Partner with business leadership in all the core Organization and People processes such as Organizational Effectiveness, Talent Strategy, Succession Planning, Compensation Planning, Learning & Development plans, Employee Engagement, I&D, R&R and Employer Branding
- Develop and drive the Talent agenda for the partnering Business groups in line with the global Technology and local center strategy
- Develop or internally leverage frameworks, processes and policies towards strengthening talent pipeline, retention and engagement and operational excellence and compliance, aligned to the overall Business strategy in a challenging and evolving work environment
- Work closely with HR and Business stakeholders to further develop the existing Technical Talent framework to bring it to the next level
- Leverage market knowledge to promote the company as an employer of choice and enhance overall employee experience with the company. Drive external university relations for internship
Minimum requirements
- Masters Degree/MBA in Human Resources / Industrial / Labor Relations from a reputed university or business school
- Relevant HR experience in similar capacity of HRBP with right scale and size
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage successfully business and functional priorities as HRBP
- Strong interpersonal skills and abilities to effectively communicate with employees, partners and global stakeholders at all necessary levels
- Change Management and conflict resolution skills
Preferred skills and experiences
- At Least one stint in any of the COE's like Talent Mgt, Leadership Development, Learning & Development or Talent analytics is preferred
- Good know how on digital tools and technology
- Lead from front organizational initiatives in the areas of strengthening high performance culture, I&D, employee communications and branding, training and higher education
- Partner with regional and global HR organizations to share and leverage best policies and practices, report progress and metrics and enhance the center's representation in regional and global HR forums
- Actively engage and influence the change management and continuous improvement in the HR function and the partnering Business groups
- Ensure consistency and compliance of HR practices and policies - in compliance with central, state, and local laws
- Ensuring all the Global Mobility requests are addressed and closed on time.
