Core Responsibilities
- Opening and closing the restaurant
- Supervising and training staff; supporting recruitment and onboarding
- Scheduling shifts and assigning table
- Overseeing payroll and maintaining accurate
- Managing inventory, ordering supplies, and negotiating
- Monitoring compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations
- Handling and resolving customer inquiries and complaints
- Assisting with budgeting, financial reporting, and cost control experience
- Supporting promotional events, marketing initiatives, and menu development
- Essential Skills and Requirements
- Prior supervisory or restaurant management
- Strong leadership and team development skills
- Familiarity with restaurant management and payroll software
- Good arithmetic, reporting, and budgeting abilities
- Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and customer service
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in hospitality is a plus
Sample Day-to-Day Tasks
- Conduct shift meetings and review daily priorities
- Allocate tables and monitor service quality
- Respond to guest feedback and adapt service as needed
- Evaluate staff performance and enforce company policies
The assistant restaurant manager acts as a critical support to the general manager and helps cultivate a positive workplace atmosphere while driving the restaurant's operational success
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹18, ₹25,000.00 per month
