Business Development Representative

Overview
We are looking for a Business Development Representative who specializes in driving expansion within existing customer accounts. The role will focus on both horizontal and vertical growth by identifying where our solutions can fit across new teams, new functions, and new use cases within the customer organization.
Key Responsibilities
• Identify vertical expansion opportunities by uncovering needs within the same department or business unit.
• Drive horizontal expansion by engaging new teams, geographies, and functions that can benefit from our products.
• Conduct targeted outreach to existing customers to position cross sells, new modules, and extended capabilities.
• Qualify and book expansion focused meetings for Account Managers.
• Map the customer organization to identify influence networks, decision makers, and untapped teams.
• Track signals such as new hires, increased product usage, helpdesk queries, and trial interest.
• Re engage accounts that use limited features and introduce additional solutions aligned to their workflows.
• Maintain clean CRM hygiene with clear notes on expansion potential and customer insights.
• Partner closely with Account Managers to align on expansion strategy and prioritization.
• Deliver customer feedback to product and marketing teams for improved positioning.
Requirements
• Previous experience in Business Development, Sales, or Customer Success.
• Strong understanding of account structures and multi team selling.
• Ability to identify use cases and match them with the right product capabilities.
• Excellent outreach skills to spark interest in new product lines.
• Familiarity with Salesforce, HubSpot, Outreach, or similar tools.
