Role Description
Seeking an experienced professional to lead the business development and technical sales efforts for the Labels Division focused on pharmaceutical clients. This role demands a strategic leader with deep expertise in printing and packaging technologies, particularly for pharma labeling solutions. The incumbent will drive new business acquisition and growth, leveraging technical knowledge to deliver tailored label solutions and build lasting customer relationships in the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead technical sales and business development strategies for pharma label products, ensuring alignment with company's advanced printing and packing technologies.
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales plans targeting pharma companies in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and beyond.
- Collaborate closely with plant operations, R&D, and production teams to ensure product offerings meet client technical requirements and regulatory standards.
- Build strong consultative relationships with packaging, procurement, and technical teams of pharma clients to facilitate solution selling.
- Manage, mentor, and guide the CRM team for enhanced customer engagement, pipeline management, and sales efficiency.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to keep company's labels business competitive and innovative.
- Represent company at pharma industry forums, trade events, and client meetings to enhance brand visibility and build strategic partnerships.
- Provide strategic roadmap and insights on growing business to stakeholders.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Degree or Diploma in Printing Technology (mandatory).
- Minimum 15 years of experience in technical sales and business development within printing and packaging sectors, with demonstrated exposure to pharma clients.
- Strong understanding of printing technologies, label production processes, and pharma packaging regulations.
- Fluent in Telugu and English; knowledge of Hindi is a plus.
- Proven track record in managing plant-oriented or group-level sales/business development functions.
- Deep knowledge of the Andhra Pradesh and Telangana regional market and client ecosystem.
