JOB DESCRIPTION: Ops & Docs - Exports

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

 To check sales quote is prepared in organization portal and then open job

accordingly in the same

 To check buy rates with pricing team and place booking accordingly to carrier.

 To plan shipment schedule as per cutoff and inform various stakeholders like

Transporter/CHA/Shipper.

 To liaise with shipper for pre shipment documents & CHA for Checklist once

container is picked up.

 To obtain BL Draft from shipper and send 1st print for approval to shipper.

 To submit S/I & AMS to Carrier on timely manner.

 To release any post shipment additional documents like python, certificate of

origin, etc.

 To coordinate/liaise/work with Carrier contact on operational activities, issue

resolution, process execution and performance improvements.

 To highlight reporting manager in case of any carrier issue or vendor issue not

getting resolved at desk level.

 To submit vendor and carrier invoices on timely manner to reporting manager

for approval.

 To take care of any RFID updating need to be done in portal.

 To send SOB confirmation to customer and release all post shipment documents

along will bills to customer within 24 working hours of vessel sailing in case of

HBL & 48working hours in case of direct MBL.

 To send pre alert documents to overseas office.

 To update DSR on daily basis and different stages of events in Cargo net.

 To maintain excellent relationship with vendors and customers.

 To ensure company policies and code of conduct is followed and office timings

are maintained.

 Any other specific responsibilities / Tasks assigned from time to time by the

reporting manager.

SKILLS REQUIRED

 Well-developed inter – personal skills, capable of enhancing team contribution.

 Knowledge & exposure to Operations, Documentation, Cargo net.

 Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.

 V. Good communication skills.

 Well versed with MS OFFICE.

Note:
You must not be limited to above JD and must be able to handle any additional duties as

assigned by the management.
