Job Title: Insurance Payout Coordinator
Location : Chennai
Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Insurance Payout Coordinator to join our team in Chennai. The candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end Insurance payout processes, including claim documentation, follow-ups with insurance companies/TPAs, reconciliation of payouts, and ensuring timely settlements.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with insurance companies, TPAs, and internal teams for payout processing.
- Manage claim submissions, track status, and ensure timely reimbursements.
- Reconcile insurance payouts with billing/finance teams.
- Maintain accurate records of claims, payouts, and pending settlements.
- Handle escalations and resolve payout discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with IRDAI guidelines and company policies.
- Process MIS reports handling
Requirements
- Graduate in Commerce/Finance/Insurance or related field.
- 1–5 years of experience in insurance claims or payout coordination.
- Strong knowledge of health/general insurance payout processes.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills (English & Tamil preferred).
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel/Word) and insurance portals.
- Detail-oriented with strong follow-up skills.
