The Akshaya Patra Foundation is a not-for-profit organisation headquartered in Bengaluru, India, running the Mid-Day Meal Programme in over 24,000 government and government-aided schools across 16 States and 3 Union Territories, serving 2.35 million children every school day. Since its inception in 2000, Akshaya Patra has served over 4 billion meals. The organisation also engages in humanitarian efforts, responding to crises such as floods, cyclones, and the COVID-19 pandemic, by providing food relief and supporting vaccination drives for marginalised communities.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Corporate Partnerships Account Manager - SME located in Mumbai. The Account Manager will be responsible for managing and nurturing corporate partnerships, driving corporate fundraising initiatives, and developing strategic partnerships. Day-to-day tasks include liaising with corporate partners, identifying new partnership opportunities, and ensuring the successful execution and management of corporate accounts. The role requires extensive communication and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to achieve fundraising goals and support the Foundation's mission.
Qualifications
- Experience in Corporate Fundraising and Corporate Partnerships
- Skills in Account Management and Strategic Partnerships
- Strong Communication skills
- Excellent project management and organizational abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively with different teams and stakeholders
- Previous experience in the non-profit sector is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
