Position: Manager – Strategic Partnerships & Institutional Alliances
Location: Bangalore
Experience: 8–10 years
Role Overview
This role acts as a strategic bridge between the college and the external ecosystem. The position focuses on forging corporate, government, and research collaborations that enhance institutional visibility, funding, and employability outcomes. The incumbent will build high-value partnerships and position the institution as a Centre of Excellence in innovation and industry engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, negotiate, and formalise
MoUs with corporates, government bodies, and multilateral agencies
. - Build partnerships for
faculty development, internships, placements, and live projects
. - Drive applications for
research grants, incubation programs, and funding opportunities
. - Lead
branding and positioning initiatives
, including media features, summits, and industry events. - Collaborate with leadership to define and promote a
strategic institutional niche
(e.g., Centre of Excellence). - Align partnership initiatives with
academic priorities and student employability goals
. - Engage faculty and students in
funded projects, innovation challenges, and mentorship programs
.
Desired Profile
- 4–8 years of experience in
corporate relations, institutional partnerships, business development, or academia-industry linkages
. - Strong network with
corporates, government agencies (AICTE, DST, MSME, etc.), and research institutions
. - Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to
convert opportunities into measurable outcomes
. - Background in
education, skilling, innovation, or corporate strategy
preferred.
