Job Title: Key Account Manager Sales & Marketing

Location: Pune, India

Experience: 4 to 8 years

Qualification: B.E./B.Tech (Engineering) + MBA in Marketing

About the Role:

We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Key Account Manager with a strong background in sales of electric vehicle (EV) components, specifically catering to the Southern India market. The ideal candidate should be based in Pune, but possess deep market knowledge and customer networks in the South Indian region Bangalore, particularly Tamil Nadu. Proficiency in Tamil language is a mandatory requirement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage strategic key accounts within the EV components segment, particularly in South India.
  • Build strong customer relationships and act as a point of contact for existing and potential clients.
  • Identify new business opportunities and generate sales leads in the Southern region.
  • Create and execute strategic marketing and sales plans aligned with business goals.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and business opportunities.
  • Coordinate with internal teams for product presentations, quotations, and order fulfillment.
  • Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and budgets as required.
  • Regularly travel across South India (especially Tamil Nadu) to meet clients and explore new business avenues.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or similar) and MBA in Marketing.
  • 4 - 8 years of experience in sales & marketing of EV components, preferably handling South India.
  • Strong knowledge and established network in the Southern Indian EV component market.
  • Fluent in Tamil (speaking & understanding) Mandatory.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across the Southern region.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

  • Prior experience working with OEMs, Tier 1 or Tier 2 suppliers in the EV ecosystem.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.
  • Strong understanding of sales cycles, key account management, and customer relationship management.

Job Location:

Pune, Maharashtra (Must be open to frequent travel to South India)
