Head of HR is a senior executive responsible for creating and implementing HR strategies, policies, and programs that align with the organization's overall business objectives. Key duties include managing all HR functions (talent acquisition, performance management, compensation, training, employee relations), fostering a positive work culture, ensuring legal compliance, overseeing the HR budget, and analyzing HR metrics to support strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute HR strategies, policies, and programs that align with and support the company's business objectives.
- Talent Acquisition & Management: Oversee recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and retention of employees to ensure the company has the talent it needs.
- Performance Management: Implement systems for performance reviews, goal setting, and providing constructive feedback to foster employee development.
- Compensation & Benefits: Design and manage competitive compensation, benefits, and recognition programs to attract and retain employees.
- Training & Development: Identify training needs, organize programs, and create strategies to enhance employee skills and career growth.
- Employee Relations & Culture: Foster a positive, inclusive work environment, manage employee concerns, resolve conflicts, and promote the organization's values.
- Legal Compliance: Ensure the organization complies with all relevant employment laws and regulations and implement best practices.
- HR Operations & Budget: Manage the HR department's budget, oversee HR systems, and coordinate daily HR activities.
- HR Data & Analytics: Track and analyze HR metrics to measure the effectiveness of HR initiatives and provide data-driven insights to senior management.
- Leadership: Provide leadership and support to the HR team and collaborate with senior executives on workforce planning and other strategic initiatives.
