Role Overview
As Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, forging strategic partnerships, and expanding our customer base across industries. You'll work closely with leadership to shape go-to-market strategies, identify new opportunities, and build lasting client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in target sectors (IT parks, hospitals, educational institutions, manufacturing, etc.)
• Develop and execute regional sales strategies to meet growth targets
• Build and manage a pipeline of qualified leads through outbound efforts, networking, and referrals
• Conduct product demos and presentations tailored to client needs
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and partnership terms with decision-makers
• Collaborate with marketing and product teams to refine messaging and feedback loops
• Represent at industry events, trade shows, and local forums
• Maintain accurate CRM records and sales reporting
Qualifications & Skills
• 4–8 years of experience in B2B sales, SaaS, or enterprise solutions
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
• Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Zoho) and sales automation
• Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced startup environment
• Fluency in English and Tamil preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA is a plus)
