Mandatory requirement:-
- Presales skills in diversified industries and domains like Infra, cloud, applications etc
- Must possess SME level skills when it comes to industry solutions for infrastructure services, Application Development and maintenance Services, Cloud, Cybersecurity etc. knowledge of AI/ML/RPA will be added advantage.
- Must have handled India and Global markets as Pre-Sales lead.
- Must have experience working in Western region (Mumbai)
- Role Overview:
We are looking for a suitable candidate with great communication skills and an understanding of the IT industry.
As a Presales Head, you will work closely across various verticals such as product development, sales and marketing, and customer relations. Guides the process of selling complex products or services focusing on pre-sales activities like lead generation, customer needs analysis, and proposal development. They bridge the gap between customer requirements and company solutions, ensuring that the sales team can successfully close deals.
You will also be responsible for developing pre-sales strategies, creating customer-specific demonstrations, and ensuring the team effectively supports sales in driving deals to closure. You will also be required to actively observe customer behaviour and predict future needs for product development.

Plan sales strategies in response to market and competitors behavior.
Work in sync with the product development team and develop sustainable and commercially viable products.
Understand customer needs and make sales presentations.
Liaise with the marketing team to undertake demand-generating activities such as trade shows or customer workshops.
Build lasting relationships with customers.

Key Responsibilities:
- Needs Analysis and Solution Design:
Understanding customer needs, identifying pain points, and designing customized solutions that meet those needs.
- Lead Generation and Qualification:
Identifying potential clients, researching their needs, and qualifying leads for the sales team.
- Sales Presentations and Demonstrations:
Creating and delivering compelling presentations and demonstrations that showcase the value of the company's offerings.
- Proposal Development:
Assisting in the preparation of sales proposals, RFPs, and other supporting documentation.
- Collaboration with Sales and Technical Teams:
Working closely with sales and technical teams to ensure a smooth transition of leads and to provide technical support throughout the sales cycle.
- Market Research and Competitive Analysis:
Staying informed about market trends, competitor offerings, and customer preferences.
- Training and Coaching:
Providing training and coaching to sales representatives on product knowledge, sales techniques, and proposal development.
- Metrics and Reporting:
Tracking and analyzing key metrics, such as lead generation success, proposal win rates, and deal pipeline.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Technical Expertise:
A strong understanding of the company's products or services and the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
- Communication and Presentation Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
- Sales and Negotiation Skills:
A proven ability to build relationships with customers, understand their needs, and negotiate terms.
- Strategic Thinking:
The ability to develop and implement effective pre-sales strategies and to anticipate customer needs.
- Problem-Solving Skills:
The ability to identify and resolve issues that may arise during the pre-sales process.
- Leadership and Teamwork:
The ability to lead and motivate a pre-sales team and to work effectively with other departments.
- Requirements and skills
Presales head must have worked as presales head or similar.
Solution-oriented analytical skills.
Ability to initiate conversations and make a lasting impact.
Well-versed with Excel and CRM software.
- Education
MBA Sales & Marketing or relevant Diploma is a plus.
