Job Purpose:

The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales, managing channel partners, and expanding market presence of construction chemical products across Karnataka. The role involves achieving sales targets, developing business strategies, managing key accounts, and leading a team of sales executives to ensure sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve regional targets for construction chemical products.
  • Manage, motivate, and guide a team of sales officers/executives across Karnataka.
  • Identify, appoint, and manage distributors, dealers, and applicators.
  • Build strong relationships with contractors, builders, architects, consultants, and government agencies.
  • Generate demand through project sales, influencer management, and specification selling.
  • Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and provide market intelligence to management.
  • Ensure timely collection of payments and maintain credit discipline.
  • Conduct product presentations, technical seminars, and demonstrations.
  • Coordinate with the Technical & R&D team for customer support and product trials.
  • Prepare periodic sales reports, forecasts, and budgets.

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of construction chemical products (admixtures, waterproofing, adhesives, grouts, coatings, sealants, flooring, etc.).
  • Excellent sales, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage distributor/channel sales as well as direct project sales.
  • Team leadership and people management skills.
  • Strong networking with influencers (builders, contractors, consultants).
  • Self-motivated with high result orientation.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering / Chemical Engineering / Science; MBA in Marketing preferred.
  • 8–12 years of experience in sales of construction chemicals or building materials, with at least 3–5 years in a managerial role.
  • Proven track record of handling regional sales in Karnataka (especially Bangalore market exposure is a must).
