Job Description: Sales Executive (Solar PV Systems – Telecalling)Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated Sales Executive to drive sales of Solar PV Systems through telecalling and lead follow-ups. The candidate will be responsible for engaging potential customers, generating leads, pitching solar solutions, and closing sales to achieve revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct telecalling to reach out to prospective customers from provided data lists.
- Explain the benefits of solar PV systems, including cost savings and environmental impact, in simple terms.
- Generate qualified leads and schedule site visits or further discussions with the technical team.
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and sales activities using CRM tools/spreadsheets.
- Follow up on leads consistently to convert inquiries into confirmed sales orders.
- Collaborate with the sales and technical teams to achieve monthly and quarterly targets.
- Provide feedback to management on customer requirements, objections, and market trends.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in any field (Sales/Marketing background preferred).
- Proven experience in telecalling/inside sales, preferably in solar, renewable energy, or related industries.
- Excellent communication and persuasion skills in Hindi and English (regional languages a plus).
- Strong ability to explain technical concepts in a customer-friendly manner.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, with an ability to meet deadlines.
- Basic knowledge of Solar PV Systems will be an added advantage (training will be provided).
