Role Overview:

The Key Account Manager – Criticure (Liver Transplant & Neuro Therapy) is responsible for managing and expanding business in ICU, Liver Transplant Units, Neuro ICUs, and Emergency Departments of key hospitals. The role focuses on promoting critical care injectables, building strong clinician relationships, and driving institutional sales through effective account management.

Key Responsibilities:

1) Hospital & Key Account Management

Manage major hospitals, transplant centers, and neuro-care institutions in the assigned territory.

Build strong relationships with ICU Intensivists, Transplant Surgeons, Neuro Physicians, Anesthetists, and Critical Care Specialists.

Handle pharmacy, purchase, and hospital administration to drive product availability and business closure.

2) Product Promotion – Liver Transplant & Neuro Therapy

Promote relevant critical care injectables, including:

Liver Transplant: Immunosuppressants, Albumin, Antibiotics, Antifungals, Vasopressors

Neuro Therapy: Anti-epileptics, Mannitol, Hypertonic Saline, Stroke injectables, Sedation products

Conduct clinical product presentations and hands-on demonstrations.

Ensure product usage in ICU, ICCU, Neuro ICU, and OT setups.

3) Business Development & Revenue Growth

Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

Identify new business opportunities in Liver Transplant and Neuro Therapy segments.

Drive institutional revenue through consistent product adoption and high call frequency.

Manage high-value accounts requiring specialized engagement.

4) Stakeholder Coordination

Coordinate with hospital purchase, pharmacy, nursing staff, and OT coordinators.

Work closely with supply chain and distributors to ensure product availability.

Participate in Purchase Committee Meetings (PCM) and handle pricing discussions.

5) Market Intelligence & Competition Tracking

Monitor competitor activities, brands, molecules, and pricing in critical care and transplant segments.

Provide accurate market insights and weekly territory reports.

6) Documentation & Reporting

Maintain call reports, doctor interaction logs, CRM updates, and sales forecasting.

Ensure compliance with regulatory & ethical promotion guidelines.

Requirements:

Education:

Graduate in Science / Pharmacy / Nursing

Experience:

3–6 years of experience in hospital institutional sales

Mandatory experience in Critical Care, Liver Transplant, Neuro Therapy, ICU/ICCU, or Emergency Medicine

Strong understanding of ICU/OT working and critical care injectables

Skills & Competencies:

Strong relationship-building with senior clinicians

Excellent communication & negotiation skills

Ability to engage with multi-disciplinary hospital teams

High scientific aptitude and product knowledge

Territory planning & strategic account management

Self-driven, aggressive, and target-focused

Vasopressors (Noradrenaline, Vasopressin, Dobutamine)

Immunosuppressants (ATG, Basiliximab)

Anti-Epileptics (LEV, Valproate, Phenytoin)

Mannitol, Hypertonic Saline

Antibiotics & Antifungals (Meropenem, Colistin, Linezolid, Ampho-B)

Emergency & sedation injectables (Propofol, Midazolam)

Albumin & transplant support products

Work Conditions:

Field-based role with daily hospital visits

Frequent interaction with senior medical professionals

Travel across assigned territory for account management
