Designation : Head Chef/ Sous Chef (Pan Asian)

Job Location: Bangalore

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook a variety of Pan Asian dishes, including Chinese, Japanese, Thai, Korean, and other regional specialties.
  • Ensure consistent taste, quality, and presentation of all dishes.
  • Innovate and introduce new Pan Asian recipes while maintaining traditional offerings.
  • Oversee daily operations of the Pan Asian kitchen section.
  • Manage inventory and ensure adequate stock of fresh ingredients.
  • Minimize wastage and optimize kitchen efficiency.
  • Train and mentor junior chefs and kitchen staff in Pan Asian culinary techniques.
  • Assist in staff scheduling and delegation of responsibilities.
  • Foster a collaborative and motivated team environment.
  • Adhere to all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards.
  • Ensure proper handling, storage, and preparation of ingredients.
  • Work closely with the Head Chef and service team to meet customer preferences and expectations.
  • Customize dishes for special requests and dietary needs.
  • Work with the creative and marketing team closely for sharing information for media & food photography.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or certification in Culinary Arts or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef specializing in Pan Asian cuisine.
  • Strong knowledge of Pan Asian cooking techniques, ingredients, and flavor profiles.
  • Creativity in developing and presenting Pan Asian dishes.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Expertise in sushi, dim sum, wok techniques, and regional Pan Asian specialties.
  • Basic knowledge of food cost management.
  • Familiarity with dietary trends and allergen guidelines.
  • Flexible working hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Physically demanding role requiring standing for extended periods and lifting kitchen equipment.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹40, ₹60,000.00 per month
