Designation : Head Chef/ Sous Chef (Pan Asian)
Job Location: Bangalore
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a variety of Pan Asian dishes, including Chinese, Japanese, Thai, Korean, and other regional specialties.
- Ensure consistent taste, quality, and presentation of all dishes.
- Innovate and introduce new Pan Asian recipes while maintaining traditional offerings.
- Oversee daily operations of the Pan Asian kitchen section.
- Manage inventory and ensure adequate stock of fresh ingredients.
- Minimize wastage and optimize kitchen efficiency.
- Train and mentor junior chefs and kitchen staff in Pan Asian culinary techniques.
- Assist in staff scheduling and delegation of responsibilities.
- Foster a collaborative and motivated team environment.
- Adhere to all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards.
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and preparation of ingredients.
- Work closely with the Head Chef and service team to meet customer preferences and expectations.
- Customize dishes for special requests and dietary needs.
- Work with the creative and marketing team closely for sharing information for media & food photography.
Requirements:
- Diploma or certification in Culinary Arts or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef specializing in Pan Asian cuisine.
- Strong knowledge of Pan Asian cooking techniques, ingredients, and flavor profiles.
- Creativity in developing and presenting Pan Asian dishes.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Expertise in sushi, dim sum, wok techniques, and regional Pan Asian specialties.
- Basic knowledge of food cost management.
- Familiarity with dietary trends and allergen guidelines.
- Flexible working hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Physically demanding role requiring standing for extended periods and lifting kitchen equipment.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹40, ₹60,000.00 per month
