Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Commis Chef 1,2,3 AND APPRENTICES located in Bangalore for a new and upcoming project. The role involves daily tasks such as assisting with meal preparation, managing kitchen inventory, ensuring high standards of hygiene and cleanliness, and following recipes and presentation specifications. The candidate will collaborate closely with other kitchen staff and chefs to maintain a productive and efficient work environment. They will also be responsible for ensuring food quality and safety standards are met consistently.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in meal preparation, cooking techniques, and recipe execution
- Ability to manage kitchen inventory and supplies
- Strong knowledge of hygiene, cleanliness standards, and food safety regulations
- Solid teamwork and communication skills
- Detail-oriented with a focus on consistency and quality
- Formal culinary training or relevant certifications are advantageous
- Experience in global, Indian or European cuisines is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to different tasks
