Skillset Requirement / Eligibility:


  2. Good technical background in multi-asset class (Interest rates, inflations, Credit) trade PV/ Risk and PnL calculation and analysis – encompassing both Risk and Full Reval based PnL explain from Front Office perspective.
  3. Understanding and development experience of derivative products. Understands different attributes for products like IR bonds/swaps/swaptions/caps-floors/CDS etc and how cashflows and PV calculated (possibly exposure to few of the models like HW, LMM).
  4. Understanding of how different Risk sensitivities  are calculates, their formulae. Should have development experience in these areas.
  5. Understanding of IR Curve construction and optionally VOLS SABR model.  
  6. Should be doing development in the Front office Quant library.
  7. Strong mathematical background, preferably with good knowledge in the following disciplines – probability, quantitative finance, stochastic calculus, numerical methods.
  8. Minimum 4+ years working experience and 4+ years' python/C++ programming experience. With Bachelors/Masters/Doctoral degree in a STEM(a premier academic institution)

Responsibilities/Opportunities in the Front office Quant Role:


  2. Work closely with line manager and stakeholders to develop and improve pricing and risk management tools, on our strategic platform.
  3. Be at the forefront of new pricing and risk calculation methods to adapt to market and regulatory environment changes (for example Libor discontinuation and FRTB). Collaborate with the Ldn FO Quants, Trading desks, Risk and Finance teams.
  4. They will be expected to undertake investigations in a logical and planned manner of a quantitative nature,  draw conclusions and present their work to peers and supervisors for assessment and feedback.
  5. Help build out key components/packages in our in-house python library. Disseminate and / or adopt best practices both within the team and when collaborating with FO Quants, Risk and Finance teams.
