B2B corporate sales job involves identifying potential clients, presenting products or services, and managing relationships with customers:
- Lead generation: Research the target industry and generate leads through cold calling, email, networking, and referrals
- Lead qualification: Research potential customers to understand their needs and budget, and determine if they are a good fit for the product or service
- Product presentation: Schedule and conduct meetings with potential clients to present products or services
- Relationship management: Maintain communication with customers, resolve any problems or worries, and offer continuous assistance
- Sales pipeline management: Update CRM systems, track leads, and manage tasks and deadlines
- Administrative tasks: Prepare proposals and contracts
- Sales quotas: Meet or exceed monthly sales quotas
B2B sales executives should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a deep understanding of their company's offerings, and a keen ability to close deals.
