We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales General Manager to lead the sales and business development efforts for Industrial Battery Chargers, primarily within the Material Handling segment and dealing with Industrial OEM's with Traction Batteries segment. The primary focus will be on OEM business and OE account management, driving strategic growth, developing key partnerships, and maximizing revenue opportunities.
Sales & Business Development:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to drive growth in the OEM and OE sectors.
- Identify and secure new business opportunities in Material Handling and adjacent industries. Establish and maintain strong relationships with key OEMs and large OE accounts.
- Work closely with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Drive pricing strategies and contract negotiations to optimize profitability.
- Account Management & Customer Relations:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for major OEMs and OE accounts.
- Ensure long-term partnerships by providing exceptional customer service and support
- .Conduct regular business reviews with key customers to identify growth opportunities. Manage and expand existing accounts while identifying cross-selling and upselling opportunities.
Strategic Planning & Market Expansion:
Develop and implement go-to-market strategies for industrial battery chargers.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to stay ahead.
Expand the companys footprint by targeting new segments and regions.
Collaborate with marketing and product teams to enhance brand positioning and visibility.
Leadership & Team Management:
- Lead and mentor a sales team (if applicable), ensuring alignment with company objectives. Work cross-functionally with engineering, supply chain, and customer service teams.
- Drive a performance-oriented sales culture with clear KPIs and targets.
Key Requirements:
Experience: Minimum 8-12 years of sales experience in industrial battery chargers, material handling, or power electronics.
OEM/OE Expertise: Proven track record in managing OEM/OE accounts and developing strategic partnerships.
Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of material handling equipment, forklifts, automation, and related industries.
Business Acumen:
Ability to develop and execute sales plans, manage P&L, and drive revenue growth.
Technical Understanding:
Familiarity with battery technologies (Li-ion, lead-acid, etc.) and charging solutions is a plus.
