Job Description

Position: Sr. HR Executive - Payroll & Compliance

Location: Bhopal

Qualification: MBA (HR preferred)

Experience: Minimum 3 years

Compensation: Up to 5 LPA

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end payroll process, including salary computation, leave & attendance reconciliation, and final settlements.
  • Ensure statutory compliance with PF, ESI, Professional Tax (PT), Labour Welfare Fund (LWF), Bonus, and Gratuity.
  • Prepare and file statutory returns within stipulated timelines.
  • Maintain employee records and ensure accurate data management in HRMS systems.
  • Generate and issue letters (offer, appointment, increment, transfer, etc.) and coordinate HR operational activities.
  • Assist in audits, respond to queries, and ensure compliance with labor laws.
  • Handle MIS & reports related to payroll, compliance, and HR operations.
  • Collaborate with finance and other stakeholders for timely payroll disbursement and statutory payments.

Required Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of labour laws & statutory compliances.
  • Hands-on experience in payroll processing.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot, MIS preparation).
  • Familiarity with HRMS software (any payroll/HRMS tool).
  • Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving, and coordination skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential data with integrity.
