We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Taj Exotica Resort & Spa. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in the hospitality industry, preferably in a bakery setting.

Roles and Responsibility

  • Assist the Head Chef in planning and preparing high-quality menus for special events and functions.
  • Develop and implement new recipes and menu ideas to enhance the culinary experience.
  • Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff activities to ensure efficient service delivery.
  • Conduct regular quality checks on food preparation and presentation to maintain high standards.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.

Job Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in a reputable hotel or restaurant.
  • Strong knowledge of bakery products, ingredients, and cooking techniques.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage staff.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
  • Commitment to providing exceptional customer service and ensuring customer satisfaction.
