Customer Support Executive For an Online Ethnic Fashion Brand

Location: Kochi, Kerala, In-office

Salary: ₹18,000-25,000 per month

At Miriyam Lifestyle Private Limited ), we are looking for a Customer Support Executive with a passion for textiles, ethnic fashion, and customer delight to join our growing team. You will be the voice of our brand—helping customers with their shopping experience, assisting them in choosing the right products, and ensuring that every interaction reflects our commitment to quality and warmth.

The ideal candidate should have prior experience in textiles, sarees, or ethnic fashion retail, along with excellent communication skills in English and Malayalam. Knowledge of Hindi and Tamil will be considered an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for all customer interactions across phone, WhatsApp, chat, and email.
  • Handle inquiries related to orders, product details, deliveries, payments, returns, and refunds with accuracy and empathy.
  • Offer product assistance and styling suggestions when needed—especially for ethnic wear or fabric-related queries.
  • Process returns, exchanges, and cancellations as per company policy, ensuring a smooth customer experience.
  • Maintain detailed and organized records of all customer communications and transactions.
  • Resolve customer concerns independently and escalate complex issues to internal teams when required.
  • Gather feedback and insights from customers to help improve service quality and online experience.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in customer support, preferably in e-commerce, textiles, or ethnic fashion retail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Malayalam (mandatory).
  • Knowledge of Hindi or Tamil will be an added plus.
  • Friendly, empathetic, and patient approach to customer communication.
  • A good understanding of Indian ethnic fashion, fabrics, and saree terminology is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in customer service platforms such as Wati, Shopify, or similar tools will be an added advantage.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to handle high inquiry volumes.
  • Problem-solving mindset and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
