AI Presales Architect

We are looking for an AI Presales Architect who combines broad technology expertise with the ability to envision and articulate AI-driven solutions for customer business challenges. This role sits at the intersection of applications, integrations, and AI innovation—helping customers reimagine their business processes through GenAI, intelligent agents, document AI, conversational AI, and data-driven analytics.Unlike a deep AI research role, this is a customer-facing, solution-oriented position requiring strong presales skills, demo storytelling, and the ability to design conceptual AI architectures integrated with enterprise applications.

Core Competencies & Skills

• Presales & Storytelling: Excellent communication and executive engagement skills; ability to simplify AI concepts for CxOs.
• Technology Breadth: Strong background in applications and integrations (OIC, SaaS extensions, REST APIs, microservices, containers).
• AI Enablement: Familiarity with GenAI, LLMs, intelligent agents, conversational AI, and document AI.
• Demo Innovation: Hands-on capability with Python, OCI AI services, and frameworks like HuggingFace, LangChain, PyTorch for creating impactful demos.
• Enterprise Architecture: Ability to design hybrid/multi-cloud AI architectures with scalability, security, and compliance in mind.
• Collaboration: Proven ability to work across sales, consulting, and product engineering teams in highly distributed environments.

Qualifications & Experience

• 12+ years of IT/solution architecture experience with at least 6 years in applications/integrations.
• 3–5 years of AI presales/solutioning exposure, with practical experience in demos, POCs, or customer workshops.
• Expertise in designing SaaS extensions and integrations (Fusion Apps + third-party systems).
• Familiarity with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), SaaS AI extensions, and multi-cloud ecosystems.
• Strong background in microservices, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and serverless functions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience influencing both technical and business leaders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related technical field.
• Experience contributing to AI community initiatives, publishing whitepapers, or speaking at tech events.

Familiarity with Oracle's broader AI ecosystem and enterprise integration patterns is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Engagement & Presales

• Lead customer workshops, demos, and RFP solutioning, translating business pain points into AI-enabled use cases.
• Articulate Oracle's AI Data Platform, OCI AI services, and Fusion AI extensions to business and IT stakeholders.
• Deliver compelling AI demo assets (e.g., NL2SQL agents, invoice/document AI, vision-based use cases, AI-powered digital assistants).

Solution Architecture & Design

• Design AI-infused enterprise architectures integrating with Oracle SaaS, on-prem, and third-party systems.
• Propose AI-enabled extensions and integrations using OIC, ORDS, REST APIs, serverless, microservices, and containerized platforms.
• Apply knowledge of vector DBs, RAG pipelines, and agent frameworks to architect business-ready AI solutions.
• Provide design decisions, estimates, and staffing/schedule inputs for customer pursuits.

Technical Thought Leadership

• Contribute to AI/Integration best practices through blogs, whitepapers, and reusable presales assets.
• Actively participate in Oracle technology forums and represent the AI portfolio in external events.
• Mentor junior solution engineers in AI presales methodologies and demo storytelling.
