The Manager – B2B Sales

Role Overview:
The Manager – B2B Sales will be responsible for driving business growth in the manufacturing sector by developing new corporate accounts, strengthening relationships with existing clients, and achieving revenue targets. The role involves strategic planning, key account management, and execution of sales initiatives to expand market share.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, develop, and manage new business opportunities within the manufacturing sector (B2B).
- Build and maintain strong client relationships with decision-makers and influencers.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve business targets and revenue goals.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
- Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to negotiation and closure.
- Coordinate with internal teams (Marketing, Technical, Operations, Finance) to deliver client solutions.
- Prepare and present sales forecasts, budgets, and reports to management.
- Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and networking forums.
- Ensure timely collection of payments and adherence to company credit policies.
- Mentor and support junior sales team members to achieve departmental goals.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Proven track record in B2B sales within the manufacturing/industrial sector.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing industry processes, products, and supply chain.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build long-term client relationships and manage key accounts.
- Strategic thinking with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Office, and sales reporting.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering / Business Administration / Marketing (MBA preferred).
- 6–10 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in the manufacturing or industrial domain.
- Experience in managing sales teams and achieving revenue targets.
