Junior Chef

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Junior Chef to join our culinary team.
This entry-level position is perfect for someone who is passionate about food, eager to learn, and ready to contribute to a fast-paced, high-quality kitchen environment.
The Junior Chef will assist in all aspects of kitchen operations, helping to prepare delicious and consistently high-quality dishes.
Key Responsibilities
Food Preparation:
Perform food preparation tasks.
Assist in preparing, plating/packing dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards.
Kitchen Operations:
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work station, equipment, and kitchen area.
Monitor and manage inventory of ingredients.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient service.
Communicate effectively regarding dish availability and timing.
Learning and Development:
Actively seek opportunities to learn new cooking techniques and recipes.
- Adhere to all safety and hygiene standards and procedures.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in hotel management
Experience: Previous experience (1-3 years) in a professional kitchen environment is a plus
Skills & Attributes:
A genuine passion for cooking and the culinary arts.
- Basic knife skills and understanding of fundamental cooking methods.
- Ability to work efficiently and remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
