Job Title Sales Officer - General Trade

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the assigned territory.
  • Manage and build strong relationships with distributors and retailers.
  • Expand distribution network by identifying and onboarding new retailers/distributors.
  • Ensure product availability, visibility, and placement in retail outlets.
  • Execute trade promotions, schemes, and discounts effectively.
  • Track and report competitor activities, market trends, and pricing insights.
  • Share daily/weekly/monthly sales performance reports.
  • Coordinate with supply chain teams to ensure timely product deliveries.
  • Drive secondary sales and ensure proper stock management at the distributor level.
  • Resolve distributor/retailer issues promptly and professionally.

Qualifications & Experience Required:

  • Experience: Minimum 5 years in field sales with at least 2 years in the personal care, beauty, or FMCG sector handling offline/general trade channels.
  • Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the personal & beauty care landscape including retail formats, consumer behavior, and seasonal trends.
  • Graduate in any discipline (Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred).
