Role Description
This is a full-time role for a South Indian Cook at Basil Hotels & Hospitality Services. The South Indian Cook will be responsible for preparing and cooking authentic South Indian cuisine, ensuring high-quality food presentation, maintaining kitchen hygiene, and managing ingredient inventory. The role also involves collaborating with kitchen staff to ensure efficient food service. This is an on-site role located in Bengaluru.
Qualifications
- Expertise in South Indian cooking and culinary traditions
- Experience in food preparation, cooking techniques, and presentation
- Knowledge of kitchen hygiene and safety standards
- Ability to manage ingredient inventory and work collaboratively with kitchen staff
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
- Culinary degree or relevant certification is a plus
