Provide strategic input and operational leadership for Quick Commerce delivery models, including dark stores and express delivery networks.
Lead B2B and B2C logistics team to ensure consistent and high-performance logistics across all legs — from factory to warehouse, warehouse to store, and warehouse to customer.
Drive automation and digitization in logistics through advanced TMS/WMS integrations, route optimization, digital PODs, and EV-based sustainable delivery.
Collaborate with Inventory, Warehousing, and Demand Planning teams to ensure synchronized dispatch planning, proactive problem-solving, and smooth inter-function coordination.
Oversee freight billing accuracy, logistics cost control, and data transparency through strong governance processes.
Establish a review rhythm (daily / weekly / monthly) to monitor KPIs, analyze trends, and drive continuous improvement across logistics partners.
Key KPIs to Manage
Speed of Delivery – Maintain optimal lead times across B2B and B2C shipments.
Reliability of TAT – Ensure adherence to committed Estimated Delivery Dates (EDD) with minimal breaches.
Cost of Delivery – Drive reduction in logistics cost per shipment / per kg through optimization and process improvement.
Claims Management – Minimize claims and losses due to damages, missing, or delayed shipments through rigorous control systems.
Role Expectations

Strategic Partner Development: Define and implement a long-term logistics partner strategy ensuring balanced reliance across partners and promoting capability building. Foster competition, innovation, and resilience across logistics partners to achieve business agility.
Operational Excellence: Manage daily operational performance through robust KPI governance and structured reviews. Ensure speed, reliability, and cost-effectiveness in all logistics operations while embedding continuous improvement.
Quick Commerce Enablement: Provide strategic input for developing and scaling quick commerce logistics from dark stores or express distribution points to meetevolving consumer delivery expectations.
Experience & Skills Required
10+ years of experience in logistics leadership roles within E-commerce, FMCG, or Omni-channel environments.
Proven ability to manage complex 3PL networks, high-volume B2C & B2B operations, and cost-to-serve optimization.

Deep understanding of logistics tech systems (TMS/WMS), network design, and last-mile operations.
Ability to balance strategic vision and hands-on operational execution.
Excellent communication, analytical, and people leadership skills.
