Team Lead Sales

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Team Lead Sales to lead our sales efforts in the West India region (Leading the business for Maharashtra, Goa, Gujrat, MP & Chattisgarh and focusing on Generation, Transmission, and Distribution utility customers (GeTDi).
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales of energy metering and management solutions to Generation, Transmission, and Distribution utilities
- Monitor and participate in tenders from government and private utilities
- Engage with key stakeholders in state and private power utilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with utility decision-makers and procurement teams
- Track regional business opportunities, competitor activity, and upcoming projects
- Coordinate with internal teams for bid management, technical compliance, and documentation
- Support post-tender follow-up, negotiation, and contract finalization
- Report regional sales performance and pipeline forecasts regularly
What You Should Bring
Degree in Electrical / Power / Energy Engineering
15+ years of experience in sales to utilities in the electricity sector
Solid understanding of utility tender processes, government procurement, and bidding norms
Exposure to smart metering, energy automation, or power monitoring systems
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Based in or willing to relocate to Mumbai
Willingness to travel within West India for utility engagement
