Role & responsibilities
Team Leadership & Supervision:
- Lead, motivate, and manage a team of Tele Sales Executives to achieve individual and team sales targets.
- Conduct daily huddles, weekly reviews.
- Provide on-the-job training, mentorship, and support to improve performance and skills.
Sales Strategy & Execution:
- Assist in developing sales strategies to penetrate international markets.
- Work closely with marketing for lead generation campaigns and follow-ups.
- Monitor sales metrics and KPIs; analyse trends to identify opportunities and challenges.
Lead Generation & Prospecting:
- Oversee and guide research to identify new potential customers and markets.
- Ensure the team utilizes multiple channels (calls, emails, social media) to generate and qualify leads.
- Personally handle high-value or complex leads where necessary.
Client Communication & Conversion:
- Support team in engaging with leads, understanding client needs, and presenting tailored solutions.
- Review and guide proposal creation, quotations, and negotiation strategies.
- Ensure smooth coordination with internal departments (Accounts, Operations) for service delivery and invoicing.
Sales Administration & Reporting:
- Monitor CRM entries and ensure data accuracy and timely updates from the team.
- Prepare and present regular reports on team performance, conversion rates, and pipeline status to senior management.
- Ensure invoicing and payment collection is completed within the defined timelines.
Preferred candidate profile
- Experience: Minimum 5 years experience in Sales, with at least 1–2 years in a team lead or supervisory role.
- Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills.
- Proficient in CRM tools and MS Office Suite.
- Exposure to both domestic and international sales processes is a plus.
