II.ROLE PURPOSE & OBJECTIVE
- The Regional Head Corporate Salary is responsible for monitoring, strategizing, and driving execution across the banks corporate salary business at a regional level.
- This role focuses on enhancing corporate tie-ups, increasing employee salary account penetration, ensuring customer retention, and optimizing cross-sell opportunities.
- As the regional authority overseeing corporate salary accounts, this role ensures structured engagement with corporates, HR teams, and payroll service providers, while ensuring seamless execution of payroll processing, account servicing, and employee banking solutions.
- Ensure growth is driven through regional execution, structured process adherence, and strategic collaborations.
- Responsible for increasing customer engagement by cross - selling other banking products like Investment Products like Life Insurance, General Insurance and other non-Investment Products like Forex, Remittances etc. to new and existing customers.
- Assists branches on product and process related queries in coordination with the central product teams considering their expertise.
- Regional level targets to be achieved in close coordination with the branches.

Entire Corporate Salary portfolio for the region: 100 Crs
Customer size: 25,000
TPP income: 50 Lacs
Forex Fee income: NIL
Other income such as MF etc: 2 Lacs/month
- Interact & collaborate with various stakeholders of the region.
- Cross sell of RD, FD, Insurance, Assets etc. which helps in value build up.
- Ensure product mix for sale of high value variants & quality of acquisition.
IV.KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE
Business/ Financials
- Develop and oversee the corporate salary account strategy at region-level, ensuring branches achieve their acquisition and retention goals.
- Own and manage the corporate salary business budget at region level, ensuring effective resource allocation, cost optimization, and revenue growth.
- Monitor corporate salary account inflows, attrition trends, and account activity, ensuring portfolio stability and growth.
- Monitor cross-sell of retail banking products such as investment solutions, and insurance to corporate employees.
- Work closely with the Corporate Salary managers to track new corporate tie-ups, activation rates, and customer engagement.
- Support branches to achieve their MTD and YTD Revenue Targets.
- Responsible for Product Penetration & contribution towards focused product.
Customer
- Work closely with Corporate Salary managers and branches to ensure timely customer outreach via calls, emails, digital platforms, and in-person meetings.
- Ensures that all queries and complaints are resolved within the specified TAT.
- Oversee onboarding and servicing of corporates and salaried customers, ensuring a seamless experience.
- Drive initiatives to increase customer retention and relationship deepening, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Work closely with all internal stake holders like Central Product Team/Marketing/Operations/Call centers/Branch Banking to resolve issues pertaining to salaried customers with in the desired TAT.
- Oversee key corporate partnerships, ensuring seamless payroll processing and timely issue resolution.
- Ensure high service quality standards across corporate salary accounts, addressing escalations and service gaps.
Internal Process
- Ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines and internal risk frameworks, reducing operational risks associated with salary accounts.
- Ensure all corporate salary business activities comply with regulatory requirements.
Learning & Innovation
- Reviews training needs for branch resources jointly with HR team.
- Prepare a plan and training calendar, implement across the region and review them periodically.
- Create a performance-driven culture by setting clear objectives, monitoring performance, and ensuring accountability at all levels.
- Develop strategies for underperforming branches, ensuring course correction and business turnaround where needed.
V.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS OF KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
Educational
Qualifications
- Graduate with on-the-job experience in Branch Banking products.
- Post-graduate/MBA/Diploma in Banking & Finance or equivalent specialization is preferred.
Experience
- 10-15 years of experience with minimum 5+ years in Corporate Salary Business.
- Strong experience in managing corporate relationships and payroll banking solutions.
Functional Skills
- Deep understanding of corporate salary account structures, payroll processing, and cross-sell strategies.
- Knowledge of banking business & operations.
- Good understanding of operational standards.
