Position Title: Regional Sale Manager - North India and East India
Positions Open:- 02
Overview: As a Regional Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the sales, marketing, and distribution efforts of children's books within a specified geographic region. Your primary goal will be to maximize revenue and market share while ensuring that the company's products reach their intended audience effectively.
Responsibilities:
Sales Management:
Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets within the assigned region.
- Manage a team of sales representatives and distributors, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure optimal performance.
Build and maintain relationships with key accounts, including bookstores, Distributors, Whole sellers, School book fair Exhibitors, Chain Store, Super Market, FMCG Retail.
Marketing and Promotion:
Collaborate with the marketing team to create regional marketing plans and promotional campaigns that align with overall company objectives.
Utilize market research and analysis to identify trends and consumer preferences, adapting marketing strategies accordingly.
Distribution and Logistics:
Oversee the distribution process within the region, ensuring timely delivery of products to customers.
Monitor inventory levels and sales performance, making recommendations for adjustments as needed.
Relationship Management:
Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows, networking with stakeholders and promoting company initiatives.
Act as a brand ambassador, advocating for the company's values and vision within the children's publishing community.
Market Analysis and Reporting:
Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and optimization.
- Prepare regular reports for senior management, detailing sales performance, market share, and competitive analysis.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on market intelligence to inform strategic decision-making.
Requirements:
- Master or bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field.
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience in FMCG/ Stationary industry is must.
- Proven experience in sales management, with a track record of achieving revenue targets and managing a team effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Flexibility to travel within the region as needed.
- Passion for children's literature and a commitment to promoting literacy and education.
