Job Details

Position: Structural Steel Regional Sales Manager

Location: Guwahati

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement sales strategies for Assam and North East region to achieve business growth and revenue targets.
  2. Manage and expand EPC Contractors, Builders, and Government Network. (Government Sales is Mandatory)
  3. Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and customer preferences to identify opportunities and challenges.
  4. Ensure consistent follow-up with clients to maintain strong relationships and loyalty.
  5. Coordinate with the marketing team to organize promotional campaigns, trade shows, and brand-building activities in the region.
  6. Drive collection of payments and ensure credit control policies are adhered to.
  7. Prepare periodic sales forecasts, budgets, and MIS reports for management review.
  8. Visit market locations frequently to monitor sales performance, resolve client issues, and support the field sales team.
  9. Recruit, train, and supervise the regional sales team to ensure high performance and productivity.
  10. Work closely with production and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery and client satisfaction.
  11. Contribute to strategic decisions regarding pricing, discounting, and incentive structures for the region.

Skills & Qualifications:

  1. Strong knowledge of steel fabrication works (Prefabricated Steel Structures Sales).
  2. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  3. Strong dealer/distributor management and channel development expertise.
  4. Ability to analyze sales data, market trends, and prepare actionable strategies.
  5. Prior experience in working with reputed steel manufacturing or building material companies.
  6. Proven track record of achieving sales targets and expanding regional market share.
