Position: Bar Captain / Senior Captain / Bar Waiter

Roles & Responsibilities:

For All Positions:

  • Welcome guests and provide professional, friendly service.
  • Ensure drinks are served as per bar standards and presentation guidelines.
  • Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety in the bar area.
  • Follow hotel policies, SOPs, and service procedures.

Bar Captain / Senior Captain:

  • Supervise bar operations and guide the bar team.
  • Manage beverage orders accurately and ensure timely service.
  • Maintain knowledge of cocktails, mocktails, wines, and promotions.
  • Monitor stock, inventory, and consumption levels.
  • Train and support new staff members.
  • Handle guest feedback, special requests, and complaints professionally.
  • Drive upselling of signature drinks and promotions.

Bar Waiter:

  • Take and deliver beverage orders promptly and correctly.
  • Coordinate with bartenders and service staff for smooth operations.
  • Ensure tables and bar service areas are neat, clean, and well arranged.
  • Explain menu items and suggest recommendations to guests.
  • Assist the bar captain with operational requirements as needed.
